Receiving a cabinet order, flat pack or assembled, is much different than receiving a package from online shopping. Check out our reminders and tips below to make receiving your next order as easy as possible!
Shipped orders are wrapped, strapped and palletized for easy and safe transportation.
For framed cabinet flat pack and all assembled orders, each cabinet will have one corresponding box. Any trims, mouldings or fillers, will be in a long trim box.
For frameless cabinet flat pack orders, multiple boxes will make up one cabinet, making for an increased number of boxes to receive. The packing list will note each item and the components it’s made of.
All orders are shipped via LTL freight carriers. Small items may be shipped via UPS at US Cabinet Depot’s discretion.
When Receiving a Delivery
Have a person 18 yrs. or older present to receive the delivery. *Receiving the delivery includes offloading the product and bringing it into the home or business. Our freight carriers are only responsible for placing the pallets on the ground at the end of the driveway or at a loading dock. Please note a lift gate will be used to get the pallets off the truck only if it was designated at the time the order was placed.
Cross check the bill of lading against the items being received to ensure all items are received.
Thoroughly inspect the cabinets for damages or missing items. *Be sure to notate on the Bill of Lading if there are any visible damages, missing items, etc.
Sign off on the delivery of the shipment.
If you have any missing or damaged items, please log in to the claims section on the US Cabinet Depot website to submit a claim within 5 business days. Be sure to upload a picture of any damages.
